Delivery Details

Finally, a delivery that’s actually fun to wait for.

Is there a delivery fee?

Our full-service packages (Portable Playground, Nippers, Sprockets) include delivery in the price because we believe in keeping things simple. Free delivery within Calgary, with a $40 charge for locations further south past Lake Bonavista due to the extra travel time.

Pick-up packages are designed for customer collection. Simply select the appropriate drop-down box at check-out and we will confirm delivery/collection times based on our schedule and availability.

Do your prices include setup?

For full-service packages, absolutely! Watching you wrestle with inflatable equipment isn’t our idea of good customer service.

Exceptions exist when life gets complicated: stairs, elevators, long carries from our van, outdoor setups requiring ground protection, or condo function rooms where we need special access. These start at $40 extra, and we’ll discuss any potential charges when finalising your booking.

If you’ve arranged delivery for a pick-up package, set up remains your responsibility—though we can add professional set up/take down starting at $50 if you’d like us to take that off your plate.

When will you deliver and collect my rental?

We’ll work with you to arrange delivery and collection times that fit your schedule before confirming your booking. The earlier you book, the more flexibility we’ll have to accommodate your preferred time slots.

We do our best to work around your needs regardless of when you book with us.

Do I have to be there for delivery/collection?

We’ll need you or another adult to be on location when we arrive. This gives us a chance to show you how everything works, go over the safety basics so everyone has a brilliant time, and make sure you’re happy with the setup.

If you can’t be there yourself, no worries. Let us know who it will be, and make sure they can answer their phone when we arrive.

What are the additional charges I might encounter?

Most bookings don’t incur any extra charges, but here are the main scenarios where additional fees apply:

  • ​Distance & Location ($40+): Full-service deliveries further south past Lake Bonavista or outside Calgary city limits.
  • Access Challenges ($40+): Long carries from our van, unpaved pathways where our carts won’t work, or buildings with stairs, elevators, and tricky access points.
  • Outdoor & Park Setups ($40-$50+): Outdoor installations requiring ground protection, or park setups needing permits and extra consultation time.
  • Condo Function Rooms ($40+): Additional access requirements for building common areas.
  • Pickup Package Setup ($50+): Adding professional setup service to packages designed for customer collection.
  • Collection Timing ($75-$100): Evening pickups (7-9pm: $75, 9-10pm: $100), next-day collection for home rentals ($75), or no collection after 10pm.
  • Emergency Delivery ($90+): Last-minute delivery and collection for pickup packages when collection isn’t possible (additional $30 for downtown core).
  • Additional Considerations: Lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is charged at replacement cost. See our cancellation policy for weather-related charges. Corporate, school, charity, and event planner bookings have custom pricing structures.

Forget groceries—this is the best thing you’ll ever load in your car.

What vehicles can we use for collecting ball pits or small soft play packages?

Our junior ball pits and mini rollers fit comfortably in most family cars and small SUVs (think Honda CR-V sized and up). The full-size ball pits need maximum space: minivans, half-ton trucks, or large 7-seater SUVs work brilliantly. Our larger soft play packages (Junior Ball Pit & Roller combo’s and Maxi Rollers) fit in the same size vehicles as the full-size ball pits.

We’ll ask about your vehicle when you book and help you figure out if everything will fit, but ultimately we ask you to measure twice and collect once. Clear out the car seats, shopping bags, and mysterious accumulated family debris before you arrive.

What happens if my vehicle isn’t big enough?

No panic required.

We can arrange emergency delivery starting at $90 (add $30 if you’re in the downtown core). Sometimes splitting equipment between two cars works too. We’ll help you figure out the best approach if you run into a snag when you get here.

Can I pick up the day before my event?

If it works with our other bookings, absolutely!

Most people pick up Friday afternoon for Saturday parties or Saturday morning for weekend events. We’ll arrange timing that makes sense for both your event and our delivery commitments.

Are the pickup and return windows flexible?

More flexible than you’d expect!

While you’ll book specific time windows, we’re pretty relaxed about exact timing (if you’ve booked Monday 9am return but show up at 11am instead, we won’t give you grief about it).

Weekend same-day returns might be a little trickier. Occasionally we can arrange to meet you at one of our delivery locations if the timing works out; otherwise, there’s a $50+ collection fee if you need us to pick up instead.

Can I return equipment the same day on weekends?

Generally no, since we don’t maintain full weekend warehouse coverage.

However, if we’ve got a delivery job happening nearby and the timing works, you might be able to meet our truck and load directly.

Otherwise, we can arrange pickup for a one-way collection fee starting at $50. It’s worth asking if you’re in a bind—we aim to be as helpful as possible.

Payment & Deposits

Our math is simple: deposit in, memories out.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards, e-transfers, cash, and company cheques for corporate bookings.

We’re flexible with payment methods because we understand everyone has their preferred way to handle transactions.

How much is the deposit?

50% of your rental total secures your booking.

Think of it as insurance that ensures we both take good care of each other’s commitments.

When is my balance due?

The remaining 50% is charged to your card on file on the first day of your rental period.

No surprise charges or forgotten invoices—we handle the timing automatically so you can focus on party planning rather than payment tracking.

Change & Cancellation Policies

Flexible enough to handle snow in June and heatwaves in October.

Can I change my booking date?

Absolutely, up to one week before your event without any penalties. You can reschedule to any available date within 6 months of your original booking.

After that one-week mark, changes aren’t possible unless weather or illness intervenes—then we’re happy to help you reschedule.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We keep it straightforward;

Cancel more than 30 days out and get a full refund. Between 14 and 30 days, there’s a $50 admin fee. Within 14 days, it’s a $100 admin fee. Same-day cancellations are subject to a $200 admin fee (or the full rental cost if it’s less than that).

We know life happens, so we’ll be as flexible as possible if weather or illness forces a cancellation.

What’s your bad weather policy?

Calgary weather keeps us on our toes. Rain, snow, or temperatures above 25°C mean outdoor setups move indoors or get rescheduled.

If you’re planning an outdoor event during months when weather might be unpredictable, you’ll need a backup indoor location.

Without an indoor backup plan, we’ll have to cancel and charge the $200 cancellation fee.

Keep an eye on forecasts leading up to your event, and call us if the weather looks dodgy.

We’ll work together to find a solution.

What if I don’t have a backup indoor location?

This becomes a problem if weather forces us to cancel your outdoor event.

Without an alternative indoor space, we’ll have to apply the $200 cancellation fee.

It’s better to think through backup options when booking rather than hoping Calgary weather cooperates.

Do you charge a fee for cancellations due to illness?

No cancellation fees for illness.

Instead, we’ll reschedule your booking to a future date at no extra cost.

Nobody wants sick kids at a party anyway, and we’d rather help you find a better time than charge you for circumstances beyond your control.

Safety

We take safety more seriously than toddlers take snacks.

Is your equipment insured?

Yes, we carry comprehensive business insurance for our equipment and operations.

As the renter, you’ll be responsible for supervising children during play and following our safety guidelines to ensure everyone has a safe, fun experience.

Do you provide supervision?

Supervision can be provided at large events. For private home and hall parties the supervision is handled by you and other adults.

When we deliver, we’ll show you how everything works and review the safety guidelines, then it’s over to you to keep watch while the children play.

What safety measures are in place?

Our equipment meets Canadian safety standards and gets thoroughly inspected after every rental.

We’ll provide you with specific safety guidelines for your rental, including capacity limits, age recommendations, and proper use instructions.

The Portable Playground, for example, accommodates up to 20 children (ages 2-8 work best together) with appropriate adult supervision.

What do parents need to know before kids start playing?

We ask that you keep shoes, markers, face paint, glitter, and anything with pins away from the equipment.

These items can damage or stain the play surfaces.

Make sure adults are actively supervising, especially when different ages are playing together.

We’ll go over specific guidelines for your rental when we deliver, and you’ll receive our full safety rules beforehand.

Do you have safety instructions for each rental?

We sure do.

You’ll receive our Rental Agreement and Rules of Play before your event, which covers everything from capacity limits to prohibited items.

We’ll also run through the key safety points when we deliver, so you know exactly how to keep everyone safe and having fun.

Sanitation

Sanitized after every event (yep, even the squishy corners).

How often do you clean the play equipment?

We’ve coined the phrase, “We dream of hygiene.”

 

After every single rental, we inspect, clean, and sanitise each piece of equipment before it goes out again. Every ball gets individually washed, and every surface gets properly cleaned.

What cleaning products do you use?

Hospital-grade sanitising products that are safe for children but tough on germs.

Our cleaning facility has proper systems designed specifically for play equipment maintenance, so we can thoroughly clean everything from soft play surfaces to every individual ball pit ball.

Do you expect us to clean it before returning?

Just return it in reasonable condition.

We don’t expect you to sanitise everything, but please avoid the prohibited items (markers, face paint, glitter, etc.) that can permanently stain or damage equipment.

If you use something that causes damage we can’t clean, there’s a $75 minimum cleaning fee, but normal party wear is completely fine.

Can adults play too?

Definitely! Our equipment gets regular adult “testing” and holds up brilliantly.

The portable playground works for anyone up to about 200 pounds, and ball pits are surprisingly therapeutic regardless of age.

Just remember that children get priority, and you might need to explain to your kids why Grandpa Joe has fallen asleep in the ball pit again.

How far in advance should I book?

For pickup packages, you can book online up to 48 hours in advance.

Last-minute panic? Call us and we’ll do our best to help. Full-service deliveries need more planning—ideally 4 weeks ahead, especially if you have your heart set on specific equipment.

That said, we’re always happy to check availability even if your party is this weekend and you’re just realizing you need professional help.

Do you deliver outside Calgary?

Yes, though charges apply for areas beyond our standard delivery zone.

Contact us with your location, and we’ll provide a custom quote. We’ve delivered as far as curiosity and reasonable driving distances allow.

How long is a typical rental?

Depends on what you book.

Full-service packages at external venues get up to 4 hours of actual play time (plus setup/takedown time on either side).

Home deliveries are more flexible with timing since we’re not rushing between multiple venues.

Pickup packages are specified when you book—usually weekend or multi-day periods depending on your needs and our availability.
