When we launched Sprog & Sprocket, we knew one thing for sure:
Giving back had to be part of the journey – but the question is: Which charities could we give our attention to?

This question was quickly answered the moment we learnt about The Children’s Cottage Society  (click their name to learn more)

We share the same understanding, which is Resilient Children Blossom in Healthy Families.

As part of our recent giveaway, we committed to donating a soft play block set to their crisis nursery – a place which provides families with up to 3 days of 24/7 care in a safe, playful, and nurturing setting.

Originally, we planned a smaller delivery (the same 12-piece soft play block set we recently gave away to a local family). However, after taking an exclusive tour of their crisis nursery and seeing the amount of care, love and all-around goodness that has been poured into creating the space, we knew we could do better!

So, with the help of our favourite quality-control assistant (our 8-year-old daughter, Annie), we packed up a larger-than-planned soft play set and headed over to surprise the team at The Children’s Cottage.
